Designing a label for Ruppert Vineyard’s 2023 A Bolond Kalapos (The Mad Hatter) beaujolais portugieser was an exciting project. They invited me to reinterpret the rabbit from their iconic logo, encouraging me to bring my own artistic vision to the design—an approach they embraced instantly.
To capture the essence of the wine, I chose a warm terracotta and deep purple palette, reflecting its rich berry notes. The result is a label that not only reimagines a familiar symbol but also visually evokes the playfulness and character of the new wine itself.
